Lack of Updates — Quick Updates
Nov 28th
Wow, so this is about the time where I usually stop posting on my blog. Usually I just get really busy with life, and well, scarifies need to be made, and blogging isn’t a huge priority.
So what have I been up to? Well, working a lot. Been under a ton of deadlines, even more so that I’m leaving for home December 15th and won’t be back until January 9th. So I need to ensure all the deliverables have been met and accepted. So that’s been stressful.
Also I’ve been working out a lot. It’s been an outlet for me to help release any work related stress, plus it feels good. So by time I’m home, it’s already 8:15pm. Then I need to cook dinner and sleep.
Recently I haven’t even been able to sleep well at all, and I have no idea why! Unable to fall asleep, not getting a rested sleep, waking up feeling like a zombie. It really sucks.
I’m also in the hunt to find a new place to live. Come January I’m going to be a staff member for my company (instead of a contractor). It is quite a messed up system to try and find a place to live in. The company has hired someone to help me with this process as they know it’s a gongshow. But I’m also looking for myself. I’ve been looking at http://www.blocket.se as well as http://www.bostaddirekt.com, where I have paid for a subscription to contact people. I’ve probably sent out a half a dozen emails, but nothing. Hopefully I can find something before I leave, a nice January 2010 – December 2010 would be preferred, and possibly longer.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to. Work, gym, and little play.
On the bright side, Candace and I are gonna be seeing the latest Cirque Du Soleil, Wintuk. That’s gonna be so awesome. We’re excited! I’ve also got a few snowboarding trips planned for when I’m home. It’s gonna be a ton of fun. Looks like conditions back home have started off pretty well!
